Dr. Hill’s research focuses on:
(i) the integrin family of mechanoreceptors in the bladder with a view to understanding how we sense ‘fullness’
(ii) bladder pathology in diabetes,
(iii) using machine learning to decode age-specific and disease-related patterns from mouse urination profiles on filter paper
(iii) the role of surface glycosaminoglycans as a barrier on the surface of the bladder epithelium (the urothelium)
